Beneath the water surface of the Loreto Bay National Park, a lot of hard work is being done by a team of marine biologists from La Paz to restore the sea mount, which was damaged by the yacht “Vixit” running aground last year.

Part of this environmental restoration project involves transplanting 100 coral starts on the sea mount. They're also surveying the various types of marine animals living there.

It is wonderful to watch this team of young divers dedicating so much time and effort toward keeping Loreto magical.
